Al Qaeda Twisted Islamic Extremism on September 11th
Twisting the truth, twisting the facts, twisting the people's minds; this is what Al Qaeda does best. On this remembrance day of September 11, 2001, it is just like Al Qaeda, twisted as it is, to spout more rhetoric designed to ignite the flames of hatred and to twist minds of listeners.
CNN has released some of the excerpts from Al Qaeda's video, of their remembrance, of the September 11th tragedy. One that really stands out to me is this one:
Al Qaeda is hiding behind a fake shroud of religiosity and pushing a twisted agenda of hatred and violence. Using their tactics that fake adherence to the Muslim faith and their view of twisted purity of the"law" they have turned their version of the Muslim faith into one that others have twisted and perverted.
The Koran abhors killing of civilians, women, and children, and even abhors suicide. Yet this is exactly what Al Qaeda is calling for. Their viewpoint is twisted and dangerous.

Al-Zawahiri says any attack on Westerners and Jews anywhere can be considered fair, because "the reality of international politics is the humiliation and repression of the Muslim at the hands of the idol-kings who dominate this world."I find this quotation extremely offensive as these high level leaders in Al Qaeda are supposedly fighting a "holy war". They are fighting a fight to bring Islamic conversion to the world and to bring the world under the Shariah (Islamic Law).
