Okay, Iran, This Is Really Your Third Last Chance
The United Nations is showing its true face. Another extension was just given to Iran, another last chance. Do people in the United Nations even understand what a deadline means? Why are we continuing to wrangle on this issue? How many times do we need to give a deadline? A deadline from the United Nations is becoming meaningless!
Well, we have another delay on the Iranian nuclear enrichment issue.
On one good side though, it does appear that Russia and Germany are slowly moving toward the embrace of sanctions.
Unfortunately historically, sanctions just don't work to change a governments viewpoint. Look at how long Saddam Hussein had lived under United Nations sanction against Iraq - 12 years? Who suffered most? The children and the people. During the sanction period, Saddam still reigned and lived in luxury. Do we actually expect any real difference in Iran? The people will suffer and the elite will not.
I believe that sanctions against the people of Iran will be used as a propaganda vehicle by the government and will in turn fuel more hostilities focused at the West by extremists outside of Iran who feel that they are coming to the aid of Muslim brothers.
Well, we have another delay on the Iranian nuclear enrichment issue.
"The talks in Vienna - originally set tentatively for Wednesday - had been described as a last chance for Iran to avoid sanctions over its enrichment of uranium in contravention of UN orders. We will not have the meeting today in Vienna, but it will be held in a couple of days" in Vienna, the Iranian ambassador to the International Nuclear Energy Agency, Ali Asghar Soltanieh, said. There was speculation it could take place on Friday."Good grief, if I dealt with problems by giving an indiscriminate number of "last chances" nothing would ever get done. Oh whoops, isn't that exactly what's happening, nothing? It simply appears that Iran is taking one of the oldest tactics in the book...delay.

Sorry this is not being written in a CIA bunker. I am not affiliated with any government or agency.
I think you missed the point. All nations need to work together for peace. The United Nations is the world accepted force of change in the international community. The problem is Iran does not want to play the game all other nations are playing they want the power and recognition without the international responsiblity. Sorry, you just can't have it both ways!

am an Iranian who live in Iran. Islamic Republic (I mean government of Iran) is a totalitarian regime who kills people, crushes oppositions, sponsers terrorists, and for sure it's going to have nuclear bomb. I as an Iranian don't recognize it as an elected, reasonable governmant. There is no credit to believe their pledges. Unfortunatly there are some people who live in a hallucination and does not know what is going on in the world like the person who leave the first comment. Probably he will come again and call me a CIA agant or something.
I can count the spacifications of a person like him. ;)
