The Silent Majority: Where Are the True Voices of Islam?
Most Muslims around the world say that their's is the religion of peace and respect, and for many it is. Nevertheless, this silent majority is allowing radicalized Islamic extremists to co-opt, desecrate, and demonize their religion in the eyes of God and the rest of the world.
Why is this vast host who profess to be peaceful, god-fearing, and loving not speaking up? Why are they not stopping the spread of violent teachings and radicalism of their children and youth?
Why do they continue to give refuge to cruel, destructive, radicalized individuals who profess to be Muslims, but who have no respect for life or God! The God of Islam is exactly the same as the God of the Christians and the God of the Jews! Why would he show a different face to each of these peoples and require a different each to grind a different agenda? The answer is: "He doesn't".
The radicalized Islamists of today have twisted true Islam into a wholly political vehicle, focused on their agenda of getting foreign powers out of the Middle East. It has absolutely nothing to do with God or Islam; and the majority of Muslims need to realize this and take back their religion.
Political struggle against an oppressor is one thing and many people can feel sympathetic towards that. But to phrase such a struggle as a "Holy War" between Islam and the rest of the world is the basest desecration of one of the world's great religions.
For the sake of fame, power, and money....not religion...radical Islamic extremists, who preach anger, murder, and destruction...not the Islamic values of peace, love, and respect...have caused immeasurable suffering for their Middle Eastern, Asian, and Western Muslim brethren who follow the true path of Mohammad and God.
Why are mainstream Muslim's allowing these corrupt few to tarnish and befoul the true path of Islam? Only they can say, or perhaps they too have been seduced by those with angry voices preaching hate and violence instead of tolerance and co-existence. It is time for the Silent Majority that is Islam to rise up and smite the head of the snake that calls itself "Islam", but that is simply a violent political movement spearheaded by shrunken, angry, self-absorbed souls hiding behind the robes of Mohammad!

The Islamic community needs a world moderator. Someone who is respected as a true scholar to speak out for a voice of non-violence, but where is he? No where to be found and why is that? The Islamic community needs to police its own and take a stand against extremism and cultural jihadism.
