Terrorists Are Watching The US Elections
You've just got to believe that for sure the terrorists are watching the U.S. election returns today. It is crucial for President Bush's forward push for Iraq and for his policy in the greater Middle East, Iran, and Afghanistan that the Republicans retain their dominance in the Congress and Senate. Without the Republican force to move the Bush agenda forward, funding, and additional military troops for Iraq will suddenly be in peril.
The terrorists would like nothing better than for there to be a significant change in American politics and the elections today are considered to be a lightening rod for the American populace's view points on the Iraq war and the war on terror.
One of the most powerful weapons along with violence in the terrorist arsenal is political propaganda. It will be interesting to see what comes out in the Press from the mouthpieces of Al Qaeda, Hamas, and Hezbollah as the American votes are tallied.
