Bolton Resigns From The United Nations

I consider this good news! Bolton was a pariah in the United Nations and was not a coalition maker. His personae was too polarizing to be effective and help to shape the policy and agenda of the United Nations.

Now we need President Bush to select a leader, one who is not a parrot of the government's foreign policy. Several outstanding individuals come to mind one of them being Colin Powell. But however, he nor ex-President Clinton (who has also been mentioned in news elsewhere) will never be selected. They are not part of the Bush circle. It is a terrible shame that the people who are selected to perform very important roles for this administration seem to be selected not on real credentials and performance, but rather on loyalty to George Bush and his causes celebre.
