Because of his viewpoint unfortunately he has been targeted by Islamic Extremist and has been forced out of his homeland to the United States. And this is the paradox, change must come from within Islam, but when Islamasists due to intolerance force those who would institute change out, how can real change ever happen? Tawfik Hamid is out spoken and speaks candidly of the problems, but are the people most affected listening?
